The craft of iron,
at the heart of Schaerbeek.
Wrought iron in Brussels is, first, a grammar. A way of thinking of metal as line, curve, presence. Our atelier has been working steel for fifteen years for private clients, architects and businesses, in the capital and across Belgium.
Every project begins with a conversation: understanding your space, its architecture, its light. Then the drawing takes shape, line by line. The forge gives form. The installation disappears into the whole, as if the piece had always been there.
Our specialities.
Everything we forge in the atelier, as one-off pieces or short runs, for interior and exterior alike.
Gates & Railings
Ornamental gates, sliding or swing gates, forged motifs. For private villas, heritage buildings, Brussels apartment buildings.
Handrails & Balustrades
Interior and exterior stair handrails, balcony balustrades, mezzanines. Contemporary lines or heritage-inspired designs.
Ornaments & Unique Pieces
Marquises, decorative wrought iron, restoration of historic pieces, façade ornaments for Brussels heritage homes.
Structures & Frames
Canopies, indoor steel-framed glass, skylights, garden glasshouses. Design, fabrication and installation handled in-house.
Our method,
from first meeting to installation.
The meeting. Site visit, measurements, listening to the project. First estimate within a few days.
The drawing. Sketches, adjustments, validation. Every line is weighed before it is forged.
The atelier. Forging, welding, finishing, patina. Fabrication takes place entirely at Chaussée de Haecht, in Schaerbeek.
The installation. Careful on-site work, across Brussels and Belgium. Six to eight weeks on average between validation and installation.
